Bill gates Early life
Bill Gates was enrolled in Harvard University in 1973 and studied for a year and a half. His whole life and views on life changed in January of 1975, when Popular Mechanics had a story on a microcomputer called the Altair. When Allen excitedly showed him the story, Gates knew where he wanted to be in computer software design. Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard in 1975, ending his studies and beginning his career as a software designer. At this time, Gates and Allen created Microsoft.
